Nikki is counting us down to 2019 - it's going to be a great one for all of us we're sure.. we’re so excited and we just can’t hide it!! ...we now have a release date for our single and new studio album!

We've been selling out a lot lately lately and that's great new for us but not for you if you missed out - our next gig is up at The Ram Jam, 29th December - also sold out so if we don't see you there we absolutely need to see you at our first gig of 2019 - our London residency at The Bull's Head, Barnes. We played a little concert for Crisis, the homeless shelter in London on Christmas Eve, a real eye opener. The people there certainly do need the help charities like Crisis can give them so if you have something to spare, they always appreciate donations, however small..
THE ALBUM - FOR BETTER FOR WORSE
Our first promo song from the album will be released Friday 15th February - the day after Valentine's and it's a rocking love song - ‘Love Finds the Young and Old’ You haven't heard anything like this live - our studio version is colossal. This will be available as a download bringing attention to the album - Title 'For Better For Worse'.
For Better For Worse is our first studio album since 2015 and will arrive on Friday 8th March 2019, It will be available from all the usual sites and shops. Available in CD and Vinyl - in fact Double Vinyl!
January 2019 sees the launch of our new look website where you can pre-order your copy of ‘For Better for Worse’ from 18th February - a link will come in our January Newsletter.
We’re pressing 500 'limited edition only' vinyl albums as well as CD, when the Vinyl's gone it's gone!
We’ll be doing an Album launch concert on Saturday 9th March at Pizza Express LIVE in Holborn to celebrate the release - limited tickets available here.
As we mentioned earlier, the website is having a face lift (Wish we were! Haaaa haaaaaa)… Lookout for shiny new images and music, unseen archives of NTB past, and a new shop with exciting new NTB Booty.

Well what a month we’ve had, read all about it further down - but NOW read THIS!! - only ONE more show before we go underground - this Saturday 6th October at The Electric Theatre, Guildford with our very special guest Gemma Dorsett - her SOLD OUT show at the Ram Jam last weekend blew the roof off the place!! Our New Album is scheduled for early November so not long now.... As well as the CD we will be taking orders for a Limited Edition Double Vinyl Album (Only 500 copies ) advance order info soon.
Our trip to Australia has been moved to early 2019 due to Album commitments which include a regional Radio Tour, Interviews for Magazines and lots of rehearsals so when you hear the news songs it will be love on first listen.
So back to September… all good stuff !
We sold out The Green Note, London - we had an amazing turnout in Bristol, what a night we loved connecting with old and new friends at The Fleece, we’ll be back soon. Then another sell out at The Bear Club, Luton - lots of new friends made there who we're looking forward to seeing again. Then of course our London Residency - The Bulls Head, Barnes - All Amazing gigs and thank you for being there - if not in person on the world wide web.

And The Big News Is...
Our new studio album is ready to rock you and in the manufacturing stages. We have a release date and as we plan to be bring you a DOUBLE VINYL album which takes a bit longer to get off the press, that will dictate the actual release date of CD and download release. We don’t want to say the exact date in case of vinyl delay but it is soon for sure. Album title keeping in keeping with our bridal ways is ‘For Better For Worse’. We’ll have promotional stuff going on and will give you more news of that together with the release date in OUR next October newsletter. Vinyl is a limited edition and you will be able to order in advance to be sure of securing a copy - this is the first NTB vinyl ever - hit reply to this email to let us know you’re interested and we can email you with details.

NTB with the full 6 piece band line plus Special Guest artists Two Ways Home - songwriters and alt-country/folk duo Isabella Marie and Lewis Fowler. London based, the pair have gone from strength to strength since a trip to Nashville inspired a new name and direction for their musical partnership. The pair recently released their third EP, ‘Closest Stranger’ with follow up singles ‘Outlaws’ and ‘As I Leave’. After returning from a short tour to America in April, Two Ways Home have been performing summer festivals and now all set to perform just for you at The Bulls Head. Then on Thursday 31st May we’re back at our old haunt the fabulous “Bulls Head”with special guest young piano Prodigy Shane Thomas.
Shane, is now 19, but his extraordinary story started when he was 3. He insisted he could play the piano – he had never touched one in his short life, apart from a tendency to play an imaginary one on the carpet.
By the time he was 9, despite not having had a piano lesson, he achieved Grade 8, having skipped Grades 1 to 7. He was playing all the classics, just about any contemporary pop song and was even arranging them in a classical style. Shane was asked to appear on 'The One Show' where Jamie Cullum exclaimed "He’s amazing!". The Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph both hailed Shane as a ‘Mini Mozart’. http://shanethomas.co.uk/biography/

The Story-
Four Years ago Faye Hetherington, daughter of our very good friend and purveyor of great music Stan Hetherington, was out running. She fell, hit her head, badly damaged her brain and was off work for over 2 years, Stan and his wife finally managed to get her back to full time work last September but she still suffers from the occasional relapse.
As you can imagine Faye and her family are very grateful to everyone at Headway for what their care and dedication and Faye decided that as soon as she was able, she would get back into running.
She also wanted to raise desperately needed funds for Headway so she decided that running The London Marathon would be a good idea. So far Faye has raised just over £2,600 on this platform. It would be great to get over £3,000 and with a successful concert, and we will do that! Friday 23rd February - Its official! - Netflix release “MUTE”. The film in which Nikki plays the part of Rhonna (acting for the first time, not singing). The cast includes a host of award-winning actors - Alex Skarsgård, Paul Rudd, Justin Theroux, Robert Sheenan & Sam Rockwell. There will also be a theatrical run at the Curzon chain here in the UK too, also starting on Feb 23rd! Shall we all go together!? See Nikki 10 feet tall on the big screen, or in the comfort of your own home on Netflix!

This long awaited studio album is soon to be released on CD, limited Vinyl and Deluxe download - Produced by Livingstone Brown. Engineered by Hans “Buff” Martin (Princes engineer at Paisley park for 10 years).

'MUTE'
Word on the street is that Duncan Jones (Son of StarMan) has announced that his long awaited new movie 'MUTE' will be released on Netflix in February.
Why have we put this in our NTB Newsletter you ask? Because Nikki plays a character called Rhonna in the movie, we’re all very excited. We’ll keep you updated on release date - Should be February 2018!
